Reiman room

J.D. Reiman jr. (18..-1957), a tea broker from Amersfoort, belonged to a group that wanted to organize a congress to the lack of awareness to discuss spiritual unity . This plan arose a 'Academy of higher wisdom' to be set up. Frederik van Eeden and L.E.J. Brouwer became involved and the discussions were conducted on Van Eedens kolonie Walden. Eventually in 1916 the ISVW was formed from here, with the aim of 'creating a centre to itensify worldview’.
