Privacy Statement

Instituut voor Wijsbegeerte B.V. (hereinafter ISVW) may process personal data about you because you use ISVW’s services and/or because you provide this information to ISVW yourself when completing a contact, order and/or registration form on the website.


ISVW may process the following data:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your address details
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your gender
  • Your IP address
  • Your IBAN number and/or credit card details
  • Camera recordings (used only for personal safety)


Why ISVW needs your details

ISVW processes your personal data in order to contact you by telephone when you request this and/or to contact you in writing (by email and/or post). ISVW may also use your personal data in connection with carrying out an agreement for services concluded with you, consisting of providing hotel and/or meeting-room accommodation, sending products from the publishing house and/or the course programme, and providing (multi-day) courses. If you reserve your hotel room through Booking.com, Hotels.nl, Expedia, Hoteliers.com or other booking channels, the details you provide will also be entered into our reservation system.


How long does ISVW retain your data?

ISVW does not retain your personal data for longer than strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Your data will not be retained for longer than 20 years if no agreement is concluded with you.


Share with others

ISVW only provides your personal data to third parties when this is necessary to perform an agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.


Website visitor tracking

The ISVW websites collect general visitor data, including your computer’s IP address, the time of the request and information sent by your browser. This data is used to analyse website visits and click behaviour. ISVW uses this information to improve the functioning of the website. The data is anonymised as much as possible and is not shared with third parties.


Google Analytics

  • ISVW uses Google Analytics to track how users use the website and how effective ISVW's Adwords advertisements are in Google search results.
  • The information obtained in this way, including the address of your computer (IP address), is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Please read Google’s privacy policy for more information; it also contains Google Analytics’ privacy policy.
  • Google uses this information to track how our website is used, to provide ISVW with reports about the website and to give its advertisers information about the effectiveness of their campaigns.
  • Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. ISVW has no influence over this.
  • ISVW has not given Google permission to use Analytics information obtained via ISVW for other Google services.


View, amend or delete your data

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request for access, correction or deletion to info@isvw.nl. ISVW will respond to your request as soon as possible, and in any event within four weeks.



Secure

ISVW takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration. The ISVW websites use a reliable SSL Certificate to ensure that your personal data does not fall into the wrong hands.
