Landgoed ISVW is the perfect place to meet in the heart of nature, close to Utrecht and Amersfoort. Surrounded by woodland and tranquillity, the estate offers an inspiring setting where ideas naturally flourish. We offer a range of standard meeting packages, which can start flexibly by half-day and are available for groups of 10 or more. All rooms have free wireless internet. Use of a projector is included at no extra charge. This allows you to combine comfort, technology and nature effortlessly in one location. The venue is easy to reach: from Amersfoort station, bus route 19 takes you directly to the estate, with a stop on the grounds. Parking at our estate is completely free, and there are plenty of charging points for electric cars.

Packages

Choose a meeting package where everything is taken care of down to the last detail, so you can focus entirely on the content of your meeting. The packages can be used flexibly by half-day and are suitable for both short and multi-day sessions, optionally including an overnight stay. You benefit from modern facilities such as Wi-Fi and audiovisual equipment, combined with hospitality and an inspiring, green setting. 

Conferences and events

On the estate, the Van Eedenzaal and the Bierens de Haanzaal together form an elegant 144 m² space, suitable for up to 180 people. The rooms are ideal for conferences, events and meetings in an inspiring setting. With 115 hotel rooms, a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a range of multi-day meeting packages, the estate offers all the facilities for a complete and carefree stay.

Outdoor

Landgoed ISVW is located in the green surroundings of Leusden and offers a unique setting where peace, space and inspiration come together, with 6 hectares of its own natural grounds. The natural setting is the ideal backdrop for outdoor activities, team building, off-site strategy sessions, leadership training and in-depth workshops, far from the pressures of everyday life.

Sustainability

At Landgoed ISVW, sustainable meetings are central to what we do, and this is second nature to us. With our commitment to a clean and healthy living environment, we held the gold Green Key certification—the highest attainable sustainability certification—from 2011 through 2018, and switched to Green Globe certification in 2019. This underlines that we go beyond laws and regulations and continually work towards the conscious, efficient and future-oriented treatment of people and the environment.

Food & Drinks

During a meeting, training session or conference, good food and relaxation are essential for focus, energy and inspiration. In the restaurant at Landgoed ISVW, enjoy flavourful, freshly prepared dishes, as organic as possible, that contribute to a healthy and productive gathering. The lounge and bar also provide a relaxed setting for informal get-togethers, conversation after the event or simply unwinding. Culinary quality and welcoming meeting spaces together form a valuable addition to a successful gathering.

Accommodation

In addition to meetings, Landgoed ISVW also offers overnight accommodation, ideal for multi-day events. You will stay in comfortable rooms as standard, with the option to upgrade to a comfort room (€ 17.50 extra per person per night) or a renovated plus room with extra-wide beds (€ 10.00 extra per person per night). You can easily book your stay online.

Our special mission

Landgoed ISVW has been located in Leusden since 1916 and has the special mission of promoting the practice of philosophy. All proceeds from the catering, hotel and meeting rooms go entirely to the philosophical institute for courses. In this way, every gathering contributes to a place where a broad and in-depth philosophy programme can continue without subsidies.

Groen Centraal

Landgoed ISVW is affiliated with Groen Centraal, a network of nine conference centres on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. If we have no availability, we are happy to refer you to one of our colleagues.
