Reiman hall
JD Reiman jr. (18..-1957), a tea broker from Amersfoort, belonged to a group that wanted to organize a congress in 1915 to discuss the lack of 'spiritual unity'. In line with this, plans were made to establish an 'Academy for Higher Wisdom'. Frederik van Eeden and LEJ Brouwer became involved in this and the discussions were held at Van Eeden's Walden colony. Eventually, the ISVW was founded in 1916, with the objective of 'forming a center for the deepening of life and worldview'.
